About the role

At PRR Group, we are pushing the limits of the Microsoft Cloud. As an Enterprise Azure AI Architect, you will spearhead our most complex Azure AI deals, designing and deploying agentic frameworks, Copilot integrations, and automated workflows for the world's most critical institutions.

A World-Changing Company

PRR Group builds the cloud-agnostic foundation for enterprise SaaS and autonomous AI agents. We deliver protocol-native infrastructure that empowers both Commercial and Federal partners to deploy secure, scalable, multi-tenant solutions anywhere—cloud, hybrid, or on-prem. As a proud Microsoft partner, we combine deep domain expertise with an unwavering commitment to governance (including HIPAA and FedRAMP-aligned standards). We allow the world's most critical institutions to orchestrate AI agents that act on enterprise data securely and autonomously.

The Role

We have an explosive pipeline of Azure AI engagements, and we need an Enterprise Azure AI Architect who can kill it in the field. You won't just be drawing diagrams; you will own the Gen AI strategy and implementation for high-stakes customers.

You will leverage Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Power Automate to build agentic frameworks that connect deeply into legacy enterprise systems (like SAP) without compromising security. You will lead technical discovery, architect the solutions, and work with our forward-deployed teams to take concepts from proof-of-concept to enterprise-wide production rollout.

Core Responsibilities

  • Architecting and deploying autonomous AI agents and conversational interfaces using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Building complex, event-driven middleware and orchestrations using Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Azure Relay to bridge cloud AI with on-premise data.
  • Leading technical discovery and defining the architecture for both Commercial and Federal clients, ensuring stringent FedRAMP-aligned compliance.
  • Designing proactive alerting and anomaly detection systems that push intelligence to users natively within Microsoft Teams.
  • Navigating complex enterprise environments to securely integrate cloud-native AI with legacy on-premise ERPs (e.g., SAP) using On-Premises Data Gateways and custom connectors.
  • Engaging directly with customer stakeholders, from technical engineering teams to C-suite executives, to drive strategy and adoption.

What We Value

  • Engineering mindset focused on delivering production-ready Azure solutions, not just academic AI benchmarks.
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and how to creatively and securely bypass enterprise roadblocks.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, operating with the autonomy of a startup founder.
  • A relentless focus on security, tenant isolation, and auditability. You understand that in the enterprise space, AI is only as useful as its compliance trail.

What We Require

  • Proven experience designing and deploying solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio.
  • Deep expertise in the Power Platform (Power Automate) and Azure integration services (Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Relay).
  • Experience connecting cloud environments to complex on-premise systems using On-Premises Data Gateways and secure networking protocols (VNet Peering, ExpressRoute).
  • Strong coding proficiency in relevant languages (C#, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with federal and enterprise compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST AI RMF 1.0) and how to architect systems that meet these stringent requirements.
  • Ability and interest in traveling up to 25%, as needed to client sites, but flexible based on personal preferences.
  • Nice to Have: Relevant Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

By combining deep domain expertise with an unwavering commitment to governance (including HIPAA and FedRAMP-aligned standards), we allow the world's most critical institutions to orchestrate AI agents that act on enterprise data securely and autonomously. We are a proud Microsoft partner, building the infrastructure that outpaces commodity software.

The Role

At PRR Group, the Forward Deployed Engineer isn't just a job title: it's the blueprint. Forward Deployed AI Engineers work directly with customers owning Gen AI strategy and implementation. On a daily basis, you will build end-to-end workflows, take them to production, and solve real world problems at the largest scale.

You will not be building generic chatbots. You will be architecting purpose-built, industry-specific verticals (Healthcare, Legal, FinOps) on top of our proprietary, multi-tenant event-driven platform. You will have ample opportunity to contribute learnings from the field back to the PRR Group product suite. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to make smarter, faster decisions across disconnected systems.

Core Responsibilities

Forward Deployed AI Engineers' responsibilities look similar to those of a hands-on AI startup CTO: you'll work in small agile teams and own the end-to-end execution and implementation of high-stakes projects, including:

  • Wrangling massive-scale data and using AI to accelerate and enhance critical operations.
  • Architecting solutions using our core stack: Kubernetes (k3d/Istio), Go, PostgreSQL, NATS JetStream, and Temporal.
  • Interacting with customers to understand their needs and set their AI strategy, but the most impact will be driven by implementing solutions into the real world of our partner's organizations.
  • Deploying and integrating Bring Your Own Agent (BYOA) infrastructure utilizing Model Context Protocol (MCP), A2A, and AG-UI standards.
  • Enforcing strict tenant isolation and identity brokering using Keycloak (OIDC) across human and autonomous agent actions.
  • Engaging directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to executives.

What We Value

  • Engineering mindset, focused on delivering production solutions with Gen AI, data processing pipelines, and advanced analytics tools.
  • Solving real business problems, not academic benchmarks.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.
  • An eagerness to creatively solve technical problems with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
  • A relentless focus on security, governance, and auditability. You understand that in the enterprise space, AI is only as useful as its compliance trail.

What We Require

  • Past experience building solutions with LLMs and a deep understanding of overall Gen AI landscape.
  • Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar. (Deep expertise in Go and React/Next.js is highly preferred).
  • Strong engineering background. Preferred fields include but are not limited to Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Machine Learning.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Skaffold) and service mesh architectures (Istio).
About the role

Work alongside senior architects on the production systems PRR builds for regulated industries — credit unions, lenders, federal agencies, and healthcare. Learn by building real services where correctness, security, and an examiner's audit trail are non-negotiable, and graduate quickly into ownership.

The Role

As a Junior Software Engineer at PRR, you will work alongside senior architects on production systems we build for regulated industries — credit unions, lenders, federal agencies, and healthcare organizations. Across our eight engineering practices, you will ship real services into environments where correctness, security, and an examiner's audit trail are non-negotiable. This is not a ticket-taker role. You will learn by building, develop the judgment that only comes from working on systems that have to hold up under scrutiny, and graduate quickly into ownership.

We hire for trajectory. You don't need to walk in knowing every tool we use — you need to demonstrate that you can figure things out, ask sharp questions, and own outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and agentic workflows across our AI engineering, agentic systems, RAG, and document processing practices.
  • Contribute to event-driven and distributed system designs under senior architect guidance.
  • Help build and operate scalable data pipelines on PostgreSQL and adjacent datastores.
  • Support containerized deployments across Kubernetes, Azure / AWS / GCP, and our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in identity, multi-tenancy, and access control work (Keycloak / OIDC).
  • Pair with senior engineers to operationalize ML models, LLM-driven features, and computer vision workloads.
  • Write clean, tested, secure code — and learn to defend your design choices in review and against the governance bar (NIST AI RMF, HIPAA, FedRAMP-aligned).

What We Require

  • 1–3 years of professional or strong academic experience building backend systems.
  • A track record of resourceful problem-solving, self-guided learning, and the ability to figure things out when there is no clear playbook.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master backend languages and frameworks. Our current stack is Go, Node.js, and TypeScript — fluency in any one of these is a strong start.
  • Comfort working in a Linux / containerized environment. Familiarity with Docker is required; an interest in growing into Kubernetes and microservices is essential.
  • Exposure to at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and a desire to go deep on cloud-native development.
  • Genuine interest in agentic AI, multi-tenant SaaS, and the architectural challenges of building infrastructure that avoids vendor lock-in.
  • A bias toward clean code, strong testing, and security-conscious thinking — especially in regulated environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP-adjacent).

What Sets You Apart

  • You have built something on your own — a project, contribution, or system — that proves you can ship without being told how.
  • You have worked with or studied Go, Temporal, NATS, Kubernetes, Helm, or Istio (we use these — but we will teach the right candidate).
  • You have an opinion about why owning your data and infrastructure matters.
About the role

Architect and build the production systems PRR delivers across eight engineering practices — for credit unions, banks and regulated lenders, federal and state agencies, and healthcare organizations. You own the architecture decisions that determine whether systems scale, stay secure, stay portable across clouds, and pass examiner scrutiny on day one.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at PRR, you will architect and build the production systems we deliver across our eight engineering practices — AI engineering, agentic systems, RAG and knowledge systems, computer vision, intelligent document processing, data engineering, cloud modernization, and strategy and advisory. The work lands in regulated environments: credit unions, banks and regulated lenders, federal and state agencies, and healthcare organizations. You will own the architecture decisions that determine whether systems scale, stay secure, stay portable across clouds, and pass examiner scrutiny on day one.

Every PRR engagement is principal-led. You scope it, you build it, and you hand it off to the engineers who will run it — no bait-and-switch, no "the team will figure it out." If you want to operate above the work, this is not the role. We hire architects who build.

Core Responsibilities

  • Architect and build resilient backend services and APIs across our practice areas, primarily in Go and TypeScript / Next.js.
  • Design event-driven architectures and durable workflows (we use NATS JetStream and Temporal — comparable patterns are welcome).
  • Build multi-tenant data pipelines and operate large-scale PostgreSQL with care for isolation, performance, and recovery.
  • Own containerized deployment posture across Kubernetes, service mesh, Helm, and our local development pipeline (we use k3d, Istio, Helm, and Skaffold today).
  • Enforce strict tenant isolation and enterprise identity (Keycloak / OIDC) — and push back hard when designs erode that boundary.
  • Partner with principals and AI architects to operationalize ML models, LLM wrappers, and agent workflows for production.
  • Ship the governance the work has to survive: NIST AI RMF 1.0-aligned, HIPAA-ready, FedRAMP-aligned, with the examiner package on the shelf.
  • Mentor by example. Raise the bar in code review. Defend architectural choices and revise them when the evidence warrants. Hand off cleanly to the client team.

What We Require

  • 7+ years building backend systems and distributed architectures in production environments.
  • A track record of resourceful problem-solving — the ability to design and ship correct systems when there is no playbook, no library, and no obvious right answer.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master backend systems. Our current stack centers on Go (preferred) and TypeScript / Node.js. Deep expertise in one and willingness to operate fluently across both is expected.
  • Strong background scaling cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP — with conviction about how to stay portable across them.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, service mesh patterns, and modern CI/CD. Comfort picking up Istio, Helm, Skaffold, and k3d (or articulating credible alternatives).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and durable execution frameworks (Temporal, NATS, or equivalents).
  • A security-first mindset and proven experience architecting to enterprise compliance regimes — FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA. You know what these frameworks actually require, not just that they exist.
  • Comfort working without vendor lock-in. You should be the kind of engineer who instinctively asks, "what happens to our data and our deployment story if this provider goes away?"

What Sets You Apart

  • You have shipped a system that processed real production scale, owned by you, on-call by you.
  • You have worked inside Federal or regulated commercial environments (DoD, IC, healthcare, financial services).
  • You have an opinion on agentic systems, multi-agent orchestration, or LLM tool-use design — and the receipts to back it up.
